CASP Cabot Street Garden 2014
This year was an exciting planting season for the Cabot Gardens. In addition to the Butterfly and Pizza gardens behind the Cabot School, near the outdoor classroom, CASP students expanded the garden area to the playground. Now in front of the school,we began planting flowers and some edible plants. The edible items in the garden include: honeysuckle, strawberries, blueberry bushes, cherry husks, and green beans. Other plants include: two varieties sedum, columbine, daylilies, phlox, knockout roses, allium, sunflowers, cosmos, sunfire, and lavender. The native plants that we purchased during our Garden in the Woods field-trip are: trillium, jack in the pulpit, trout lily, a blue iris, and a Virginia blue bells.
Best wishes,
Liraz
